Don't know if I would want to be on a powerless ship, even a 45,000 ton battleship, in a major hurricane...

Battleships are reletively capable of handling a hurricane...

...IF they are at sea AND under power AND properly manned. I wouldn't want to be on one just tied up to a pier.

I believe it's much more securely anchored (as are most museum ships) than your average operating vessel just secured to a pier.
