Amen to what you said. Knowing when to express gratitude is a virtue too.

The dear boy dropped his Bloody Mary... That would be my beverage of choice right about now. LOL... Yes, me too. It's great food and it gives one a nice kick start each day.
I work for two separate older successful businessmen, one 88 and the other 91 years old, and both of them have been having B.M.'s (Bloody Marys and bowel movements -- ;-)), every morning since their mid-30's.
Excellent, good men, and they both are still playing a fine game of golf. The 88 year old often shoots his age, quite an accomplishmnet.

I think the size of the hurricane worked against it.

Did Harrigan just get hit by glass? He got hit by something, He needs to be wearing his helmet and flak vest.
Better yet, he better get inside pretty soon.
To: GOP_Proud
Yes, he said he'd been hit by glass and is holding his head. I want him to get inside NOW.

I turn on Fox, and Steve Harrigan is standing in front of blowing trees. E.D. or whoever the anchorette is asks "What is that behind you?
Harrigan would have been perfect if he said, "This is a Christmas tree farm. The farmer is just blowing out all the old needles so he can harvest 'em.
Here's your sign."

That will be wonderful, if true. I understand she is moving 15 mph. They may have dodged the bullet. But is still ain't over.

Concerning indoor weather systems:
I once lived in a storage space in New York City that had a high skylight, just off the Hudson River. One cold Winter, I had placed a pot of water on the heater just to bring up the humidity in my "apartment", so I had warm moist air going up into a skylight that was being chilled by the extremely cold wind blowing off the river. The result: a small snowstorm in my kitchen.
I moved out before the summer thunderstorms started up.
