Posted on 08/28/2005 8:21:15 PM PDT by Doctor Raoul

From the McClellean County Health Department regarding current conditions at Mattledge Farm:

Uh, to get back to the, uh, the warning that I've received you may take it with how many however many grains of salt you wish, that the brown acid that is circulating around us is not specifically too good. Uh, it's suggested that you do stay away from that, course it's your own trip, so be my guest, but, uh, please be advised that there is a warning on that one ok?

Curious- what is the origin of "brown acid = BAD"?

How is it worse than regular acid? Did this happen somewhere a long time ago?

They ignored the same warnings back in the 60's. Why should they listen now?

Brown acid? Is this suppose to be a spoof thread, right? LOL. This has GOT to be a joke.

And look where it got them. 40 years later, wearing the same clothes, singing the same songs, bitching about the same thing.

The brown acid caused chronic halucinations and delusions that lasted decades.

Normal people had to remind the Sheehan types to take a bath or a shower back in the 60s also. Hippies just stink. Time to bring in the Waste Mangement guys to get this crap in the ditch picked up and hauled off to the dump.

It's the actual wording of the "Brown Acid Announcement" from Woodstock.

"Curious- what is the origin of "brown acid = BAD"?"

At Woodstock in 1969 somebody cooked up a batch of acid, and it turned out brown. Supposedly the stuff was not up to the usual "standards" of the unwashed hippie dopers who were there, so the organizers of the event made an announcement from the stage to be careful about the brown acid. As I recall, it's right at the start of the movie "Woodstock."

LOL. I knew it. There's no doubt in my mind the drugs are flying around camp Sheenan, but the bad brown acid? C'mon. What are the odds? LOL.

"Wow."

I understand that at Woodstock in 1969 the words "wow" and "far out" were used in abundance as the acid was dropped and the joints were passed. No doubt Cindy and her band of unwashed geriatric hippies are saying that a lot. DEA needs to pay Cindy and her loony comrades a visit.

Have you never heard of Woodstock? Never seen the 8mm film? It was an announcment made at the concert in 1969, preserved forever on film long before video.

"Have you never heard of Woodstock? Never seen the 8mm film?"

A bunch of kids with no jobs held a concert.

For decades to come, media would have you believe that "everyone" was there and "everyone" did drugs back then, when really it was a fringe minority who later became the very journalists who promoted this myth.
