latest reson shows two wind maxes in the NE quad..and only 125 knots flight level..which is only 130 MPH surface winds...translation... the winds are coming down..two eyewalls are forming....unless they find higher winds soon the offical wind speed may be dropped....on the other hand the wind field of CAT 3 plus winds is likley getting bigger

How long does eye wall replacement take? If the process is still going on at landfall, that is great news. If there is time for eyewall to complete, that is BAD news. Last night there was a huge spike of power after replacement.
Anyone remember how long it took? When is projected landfall?

I'm praying that the winds will continue to decline and spare our fellow Americans. I just can't imagine the fear and horror those poor folks are going through.
