The cinnamon toast is better if the sugar/cinnamon mixture is put on buttered bread, then the bread with the butter/sugar/cinnamon is broiled just under the broiler in the oven.
That is how I fix mine -- now I am getting hungry. What I would really like tonight is a funnel cake!

I was about to post a big whiny complaint about how this thread should be re-titled since there is no storm discussion on it. But since you posted that great idea for broiled cinnamon toast, I changed my mind.
I'm going to try it on a bagel.
