I also got pulled over for speeding coming back from Crawford, coming down TX HWY 6 around Brenam. The DPS trooper probably saw my Support the Troops and President Bush" sign in my car window as he walked up to "give me a ticket."

But after he asked me to get out of the car and walk back to the front of his cruiser, he said he would only give me a written warning instead. He asked me where I was coming from and I said I was up in Crawford supporting the President and troops. Apparently he was former service member and big Republican. :)

We spoke for a little while informally about Texas politics as he ran my license and wrote out the warning. Then he sent me on my way back to Houston - very thankful that this part of Texas DPS is in good Republican hands. :)

I loved hearing some of the stories about the folks that attended the rally on Sean Hannity just moments ago...Melanie and a couple others were on with Sean and it was touching to learn of the small events (actually huge events to the participants) that happened that our MSM ignored. Glad millions listen to Sean!

I got a speeding ticket too. I was still dressed as the Statue of Liberty and had green face when the officer came to the car.

he was taken aback and asked if I was racing to the hospital.
"I would love to be able to say that but I can't. I'm just getting the generator for the rally returned at a city a few hours away."

He did give me a ticket but in the highest zone so was very kind to me. he say that was the ticket he would give me ..."depending on my attitude" so I know who he had been putting up with and was kind to him. I did get the green off my face by the time he got back.

I meant to warn everyone... I'm sorry.

I'm going to driving class soon.
