Thank you, Paula. In talking to my bro this afternoon, I learned that his philosophy of life has changed drastically (not a bad thing) and he is thankful that he was able to get his wife and pets, and a few important things out of the house. I did tell him it makes me grateful that I live in the middle of the California desert and the worst thing we have are the occasional earthquakes. I will take that over a hurricane any day!

thank you paula. i got word tonight that while my bro and his wife are safe, their home is gone. we are grateful for their safety, now comes the waiting to see how and what to rebuild. prayers for all who are affected by katrina, and those still to become her victims.
