I hope the Superdome is built better than the World Trade Centers.

Why are people going into a single structure is beyond me . Is it the highest elevation around?

The outside of the structure is solid. But the roof.... hard to say.

There is no "highest elevation." The Dome is the only concrete reinforced building available with any kind of height above street level.

I just pray it doesn't turn into a giant tomb.

I believe that someone stated that it's the strongest building in NO.

Possibly because it is made of reinforced concrete and is more or less flood proof.
