The word of God, which fools disregard, speaks of behemoth and leviathan. It is probable the catastrophic event that killed them was none other than the deluge. This would have reduced the atmospheric pressure (the water existed in a canopy above the earth prior to that) and thus the oxygen density, making it impossible for such creatures to survive. This would also explain the fossils mixed up and concentrated in certain area, with the "fines" (smaller specimens) sinking further down.

The Word also speaks of three different heaven/earth ages.

There was a catastrophic event that killed off all life in the FIRST heaven/earth age prior to man ever being form in the flesh. The dinos were around in the FIRST heaven/earth age.

Genesis 1:2 is describing that event, with follow up descriptions elsewhere planted within the Word.

Creationists do themselves no service claiming that the dino's were around during this heaven/earth age.

What evolutionists reject is the Heavenly Father did do what He said He did.

According to my Amplified translation of the Bible, IIRC, they referred to the Hippopotamus and some other common creature. The whale, I think. Been a while.

To the ancient Jews, these creatures must have held mythical status.

Yes, I'm a Christian.

I always enjoy these threads. Never can tell what stupid ideas sprout from the minds of idiots.

There's plenty of large animals still around. Elephants, whales, hippos etc. Why would dinosaurs have died out while these other megafauna survived?

No, the water existed in "the fountains of the great deep" and came up fast and hot through fissures that encircle the globe. Read the word before posting!

After a world wide flood, you would expect to find millions and millions of dead things all over the world covered by layers of rock and mud, Ah, come to think of it, that's jsut what we find, millions and millions of dead things all over the earth covered by layers of mud and rocks.
