the Mayor on CNN now - saying buses are running to take people to the superdome. How many people do they think they can put in that superdome? I mean, I know it holds alot of people, but not to evacuate any percentage of a city.
The superdome would be my last option. I'm a wee bit claustrophobic in crowds, and I don't like being trapped anywhere. Especially if that "anywhere" is below sea level and I can't see out.
The mayor said that they have a plan to commandeer other buildings as overflow shelters, should the need arise.
