Trying to listen to 3 different stream feeds---
the weather lady commentator on WDSU TV said something about 'if the wall goes, so does New Orleans.'
I saw graphic in one of the threads that showed N.O. between MS River and Lake Pontchartrain and how below-sea-level much of it is.
[I would feel uncomfortable visiting such an area, much less living there. lol]
From another thread:

They are caught between Lake Pontchartrain and the mighty Mississippi. This could be really bad.

Here's another view of the lowlands of New Orleans. Remember how much water was in the streets in South Florida after Katrina skirted there? And that area is above sea level.
The yellow and light green areas will simply be gone.
