These did nothing of the sort, not today. These were political sigs befitting of an election, not the emotional rally of today. Dude, I'm not BLIND. The sign in the pics posted earlier is this one:

Are you seriously taking the position that this sign is "election" oriented and NOT aimed at mocking anti-war hypocrites like Sheehan?

But the Warrior signs should've been in Cindy's camp, not the pro-troop/Freeper camp.

No doubt a missed opportunity not to have this guy speak on stage and explain...or at least have someone explain for him. That would have educated a lot of the general population right then and there. But sounds like he was pretty shaken up by the experience and the thought didn't occur to anyone at the time.

Trust me, a sign in the heart of Bush country proclaiming him to be a dictator the small print never got read, this was a very charged group today, many in mourning of loved ones, this was not a political rally today per se.

Hey you werent there. the signs are designed to APPEAR Pro Left. Add in the fact that you have a thousand booing freepers there that cant read the sly message at the bottom because it is out of view because it is blocked by the crowd.
This caused some people to react.
No one was hurt and under the circumstances it is easy to see how a mistake was made.

I was about midway back in the main tent and all I could actually see of that sign was the huge "Bush is a Dictator!" ~ I thought they were skin heads there to disrupt the rally.

This sign was as appropriate at our rally as waving a fake gun as a joke at an airport.

The wit is too wry.
The nutjobs down the road would agree with every word.
Even though meant in clever sarcasm, the opposition has degraded
to the point where they "believe" all that the sign implies.
The signage in question is more appropriate to infiltration
of the opposition for effect than it is at a patriotic rally.
