Fox is sensitive to the rantings of the left saying "conservative news.. conservative news!!!" Fox isn't going to cover anything until someone else does. It is what it is....

They should have sent Ollie North.

I called and left a message asking them to show the pro troops/pro President rally!

Fox is part of the elite NY media now, they report for each other after they get established.
For the most part, their news coverage is the same as the rest of the pack.

My older brother retired to Georgetown about five years ago. What a great town and area.

They are caught off guard because they see what they want to see. They heard about it, but thought it was just a few fringe groups, not regular people. They heard thousands and figured a few hundred.
It is all about what they THINK the American people believe. Just remember, the famous anecdote about a reporter who said she couldn't believe Nixon won because she didn't know anyone who had voted for him?
Well, this is the support the troops equivalent. "How can there be three thousand? I don't' know anyone who supports this mission or the president."
That's my theory based on years of being a news junkie and laughing about what they are surprised by.

A special message for some special people.

I've given up on FNC and will not go back after this BS they pulled today.
I have TV for SPEED Channel/Military Channel/FoodTV the rest is of no use when FR is here to get the truth from.

Ihave written them at least 10 emails in the last hour! LOL....to the three main email addresses, to the fox news live email address, and the fox news live weekend show as well. I can't believe they are reporting on some obscure "weed war" story and not reporting on the support the troops rally. I'm more than disappointed. I sent Brit an email as well, letting him know how disappointed I am in FNC for not showing this event.

I have been watching Fox and CNN, neither are covering the rally. Fox is dead as far as I am concerned.

Exactly. I think people should cool it, be calm about the coverage. I don't profess to be an expert by any means, but I have been around people in the news business. The on-scene media right now is shooting footage, doing interviews, and is on-hand for other developments as the day progresses. They then have to go through all what they've been gathering and make it into a viewable package, which can take a fair amount of work and time to do in itself. Then the networks are (competitively) going to commence running the story on their main newscasts, possibly throughout the rest of the weekend. Coverage by local stations is probably going to surpass that of the national level, so it'd be good to keep an eye on what they may post on the 'net later.

Ok, let's say 400. We have around 3000. About 13%.
Sounds good to me!
To: lapsus calami
Thank you Lapsus - that is kind of what I have been thinking as well...besides, I really wouldn't expect to see much until this evening.

Just e-mailed Fox. This is preposterous!
Cindy's face has been on their news coverage incessantly, and yet this major news event is not covered live.
Unbelievable!
