I can't believe we haven't heard from Ted Nugent on this, he lives just down the road now from all this nonsense. When I heard that a neighbor fired a gun in the air the first thing I thought of was Ted doing some target practice.

How many anti-war protestors are there now? How many of them expected? Story makes it sound like the anti-war protestors will not be dwarfed

If this is going to turn into another Vietnam type protest effort by the left, I sure hope the right pulls out all the stops and dwarfs their numbers about ten (or more) to one.
Never again should the Vietnam style protests be allowed to shape U.S. policy for a decade or more.

Ted is out of town, but his wife is there and on Hannity's radio show yesterday.

will be watching for anyone in the crowd who is "possibly not a peaceful demonstrator," \ A shaved head and swastika tattoos should be a give away.

I believe the latter of the two predictions from the article:
The movement triggered by Sheehan is likely to have a lasting effect even after the crowds disperse from Crawford, said Cal Jillson, a political science professor at Southern Methodist University. For Sheehan's star status to remain strong in the protest movement, she must keep her message "simple and sincere," focusing on her loss as a mother, Jillson said. If she becomes more politically charged and begins throwing "incendiary bombshells" at the president, "she begins to lose her effectiveness," he said.
Brian Mayes, a Republican political consultant from Dallas, said Sheehan's efforts have only motivated the "far left" activists who are "looking to relive the '60s hippie movement."
"She is equally motivating the conservative base of the country as well as turning off the middle-of-the-road people who view her as a radical, left-wing activist," Mayes said

Anyone who thinks Hanoi Kerry and Hanoi Jane
aren't behind the anti war crowd
needs to get a clue.

I spent Mon and Tue with commercial fisherman in Port Orford OREGON helping train them to
US Coast Guard safety regulations.
I spent Thur inspecting a 49' Commercial Fishing Vessel in Charelston.
I have a 10:30 AM PST Commercial Fishing Vessel Inspection in Port Orford Saturday.
I can't be in Texas BUT I have directly supported the US Coast Guard EVERY week since Oct 2001

Which US GOP Senators are going to Crawford?
They have the time off work and can well afford to buy airline tickets.
Which GOP Governors will be in attendance?
The next President of the United States will be there
and I'll vote for him or her
because they supported our troops when they need it the most.

I should go to Crawford with a lot of water and ice, and set up a "Kool Aid" stand.

It matters not if the right has more, the DNC's media will not report it, or report it incorrectly, or as this article did, quote a supposed objective intellectual professor saying Cindy's movement is sincere, and then quote a Republican party hack.
See. They write the script, the tone, and the end.

I vaguely recall reading somewhere that Ted Nugent has a concert this weekend somewhere in the northeast, which is why he isn't there.

Cindy Sheehan, like the so-called "insurgent" in Iraq, has no base. She is the product of David Fenton's PR firm and a complicit media. Fenton has inadvertently mobilized a massive conservative reaction while the far left groups around Sheehan shrink. They will be terrified. Ha ha.

Notice the quoting of Prof Jillson, a liberal who wants socialized medicine, more affirmative action, equal pay for women........, and they make him sound objective.
