What position would that be? And do you have anything but conspiracy theory and hysterical hand-waving to back up yours?

Short term focus on greed led to such debauchery as the Bush family's war profiteering with German industrialists.

That's very poignant. Thanks for stopping by here at FR.

"words that relate to the topic?"

If we wanted to communicate on our level, discourse would be full of obcentityes, misspellings irrational logic. We know your type. We can smell your putrid hate for America. You empathize with those who wish you dead. Utter nonsense.

Well, since the Swift boaters were honest men speaking the truth I think that's fine that they "swift boat" this nut-job. They can try to sully the reputation of the heroes from Vietnam who were the swift boat veterans that stepped forward to speak the truth and reveal how Kerry was lying about his record and his secret missions on Christmas eve...

My thoughts exactly. The MSM and Liberals are doing the "woe is me" routine everytime they get caught and they turn their anger on someone who exposes them.

After Dukakis lost the Presidential election in 1988 to George Herbert Walker Bush, all we heard for four years was how "unfair and racist" the Willie Horton ad was. The forgot these facts:

1. Al Gore was the first person to use that ad about Horton in the primaries, and

2. It was true! Dukakis let murderers, rapists, and maniacs out on furlow (so he could be thought of as a "compassionate" liberal)

The Swift Boat vets were ignored by the MSM when they had their first press conference on in May of 2004. The MSM buried it, and only C-SPAN could broadcast it. Everyone with a brain on this forum knew it was political dynamite, and Kerry was finished if the truth got out.

Look at this tidbit from the Media Research center:

Back on May 4, ABC and NBC ignored the Swift Boat Veterans for Truth’s press conference, while CBS’s Byron Pitts claimed the veterans had merely “unleashed decades of bitterness.” His Evening News story ignored Kerry’s record, but challenged his critics: “If you think this is just a concerned group of veterans, think again.”

Despite the herclean efforts of the MSM to cover it up, it did.

Sheehan had based her claims against the administration on assertions by Bush, Vice President Dick Cheney, then-National Security Adviser Condoleezza Rice and other top officials that it was imperative to invade Iraq in order to stop Saddam Hussein from deploying weapons of mass destruction, which they insisted he possessed. Rice went so far as to invoke the specter of "a mushroom cloud" rising over the United States. No such weapons were found, and Hussein's armies offered only token resistance.

Everyone is entitled to his own opinion, but he is not entitled to his own facts.

The Bush Administration did not say that the invasion of Iraq was imperetive in order to stop Saddam Hussein from deploying weapons of mass destruction. They never even implied that there were stockpiles of WMD that would be found if we invaded.

What they did say, repeatedly and on the record, in teensy-weensy little words even the Leftist moonbats should be able to understand, is that Iraq's refusal to live up to it's responsibilities under the Gulf War I cease fire to verifiably end it's pursuit of WMD required the United Nations and the United States to invade that country to enforce the terms of the cease fire. This position was upheld by the UN Security Council in UNSC 1441.

In UNSC 1441, Iraq was given one last chance to comply with the obligations of the cease fire or face invasion to compel compliance. They declined to do so and the invasion followed. It is really as simple as that.

What do they think we are, Liberal? The majority of Americans are not that dumb.
