Until I got on glucosamine and chondroitin a few years ago, my old ACL tear and my old finger FX told me exactly when the weather was going to change.

I noticed that the G&C was working while I was standing in line for Sonny Perdue's inauguration. Stood in line for almost two hours on an open, hilltop plaza with 30 degree temperatures, very high humidity, and a sharp wind. It dawned on me after awhile that my knee and my finger weren't killing me . . . ordinarily I would have been in agony 15 minutes after stepping out of the car.

Oh, well, I'd rather not hurt in the cold and tune in FR or the Weather Channel!

Interesting enough, both wife and old dog take glucosamine and MSM in liquid form, and it really makes a difference in how easily they move around. Also, changing from "designer drugs" ( the high-priced stuff like celebrex or tramadol ) to regularly-spaced doses of enteric asprin ( or for the dog, baby asprin ) has made a noticable improvement. Do note that dogs metabolize asprin differently and more slowly than humans, so don't just load your mutt up with it before consulting a vet about it.
