Keanu Reeves was reported last night to be embroiled in a romance with Diane Keaton, the actress who is nearly 20 years his senior.
Reeves, 40, was said to have dumped actress girlfriend Lynn Collins, 28, to date the 59-yearold Oscar winner.
Reeves met Miss Keaton when they appeared together in the 2003 comedy Something's Gotta Give. He began dating Miss Collins three months ago after they met on the set of the forthcoming drama Il Mare.
A friend told the U.S. magazine Star that Reeves was 'hit hard' by turning 40 last year.
Breaking up with Miss Collins 'kind of said goodbye to a way of living he's outgrown'.
But I think the statute of limitations is up...I married him 25 years ago.
Current thread freakiness aside, that's a great flick.
Yeah, but he is really the same person with each role. Kinda like a male Julia Roberts.
You slept with him last night, din'chya?
So tell it to the judge, ma'am.
They are clearly attracted to each other. And although Diane isn't MY type, I am pleased to know that Keanna is attracted to "us" older women :)...
The man obviously prefers a mature woman over his usual groupies.

Yer under arrest, pal.
I don't know 'bout that...
Seems my love glands are working just fine.
But I just asked one EssieLou though.

I agree with this post.
Why is this a subject at FR?
It is not really earthshakingly important in the eternal scheme of things...or temporal for that matter.
I like both Diane Keaton and Keanu Reeves. She's a pretty good actress. I've enjoyed most of his movies, even if he hasn't had to stretch in his acting. ;o)
If this is true, I hope they'll both be very happy.
I'll need proof of that.
Make sure to wear those heels I like.
Why have we made our jesters kings and our kings jesters?
Actors should be considered as serious as a mascot at a football game. Having the same impact on our lives as the mascot has on the outcome of the game.
Guess I'll have to plead the Fifth.
But the way I figure it, if I stay married to him long enough we'll eventually be the same age.
After all, when we got married (he was 23, I was 27) I was 17 percent older than he was, but now (48 and 52), I'm only 8 percent older. So eventually we'll end up with no age difference at all!
Old limerick:
A pansy who lived in Khartoum
Brought a lesbian up to his room;
And they argued all night
Over who had the right
To do what of which and to whom.
To be sure, there are plenty of people in Hollywood who are gay and hiding it, but these rumors that so far as we know are without substance -- yesterday Olivia Newton-John, today Keanu Reeves -- make the whole "who's gay" game look pretty stupid.
Too late: statutes of limitation, it was more than 7 years ago. LOL
"You know your mothers gonna love you till you don't know what to do..."
This is the first time I've seen lyrics from "Freak Out" quoted here. And I've been here since before Clinton-Lewinsky.
I liked "Looking for Mr. Goodbar" too, and Diane did a good job in her role. She has had a number of good roles sans Woody. I liked her in:
1. The Little Drummer Girl
2. Father of the Bride
3. Baby Boom (loved her businesswoman wardrobe)
4. Crimes of the Heart
5. Shoot the Moon
6. The Good Mother
She's a wonderful actress.
Ok! Ice tea on the keyboard. LOL!
