Alas, I AM a slow learner. ;*(
Yes, we know because some of the guys got off the bus and crossed the street to tell us about it!! I just LOVE our soldiers!!!
Glad to hear it, and thanks for letting us live vicariously through you.
LOL....My life story.....:o)
Thanks, Squantos, for your report! Especially the part about the Caravan making a lot of noise when they FINALLY got there: what a misadventure that must've been, getting lost between New Mexico and Texas!!
So, neither of you joined the Caravan? Or, are you just taking your own route down to Crawford tomorrow?
I'm in Virginia. I hope to be standing tall for our troops outside of Walter Reed tonight.
God bless you.
Nope....donated a lot of dollars and time while they were here and sent em on their way and made sure they had zero harrassment while here in Amarillo......they clearly didn't even know the level of security they had and that's the way it was supposed to be.....Nice, Safe Pro America Rally supporting our troops, past present and future that venture in harms way to keep us safe !
Hey, I know you enjoyed the time and have the satisfaction of providing a needed service. Yeh, I regretted not slipping them a 20 while they were here, but donated at the MAF site. They're burning a lot fuel, especially when they get lost for 5 hours!!
Our troops are the best and we owe them so much that we cannot repay, but we try...
God bless you.
ROTFL! Hey, all you need to do is stay on one of the 5 paved roads in New Mexico and you'll eventually reach civilization.
I'll second that. Great report Squantos
Thanks for the kind words....seeing all those folks here and in the caravan gives one confidence that the real America will survive all the attempts to destroy it from within.
Stay safe Ya'll !
I have travelled on I-40 for a number of years and have always been treated courteously and hospitably in Amarillo. I like the place alot and Amarillo's treatment of the Caravan just confirms that. Viva Amarillo!
LOL!
Dat wong turn in Albequerque wiww get ya eeeeeevewy time! huh-huh-huh-huh-huh!
Thank you Squantos, I almost feel like I'm there!
(only glad I didn't get lost!)
bttt
I wonder if they went through the megalopolis of Bovina? That was my stompin' ground until 6th grade.
LOL...I know everyone can't make it all the time so we went for ya and everyone else.....I am wordy at times. Glad ya enjoyed the reeeeeeeport !
Stay safe !
That was a great report. Glad you were there representing those of us who couldn't get there.
