The article mentions that Ben and Jerry's Icecream and moveon.org, Howard Dean's "Democracy for America", and Code Pink are funding the Cindy Sheehan protests and are orchestrating photo ops. They are paying the families to go and protest.

MSNBC's Kieth Olbermann finally addressed the Sheehan "counter protest" on his yack show last night..........

Meanwhile, there is the group that reversed the Sheehan equation and showed up in her home town of Vacaville, California, with a caravan of military families and conservative activists who proclaimed, “You don‘t speak for me, Cindy.”

Several partisan Web sites reported that the anti-antiwar group Move America Forward was not quite as grassrootsy a response to Sheehan as it first seemed, that it had, in fact, been launched by a Sacramento public relations firm with strong connections to the Republican Party.

Those Web sites are right.  While the online evidence has been scrubbed that the PR firm Russo, Marsh, and Rogers actually put up the Move America Forward Web site, Move America Forward still lists as its chief strategist and one of its board members Sal Russo of the PR firm Russo, Marsh, and Rogers.

And the Move America Forward fax number in that area code is 441-6057, while the Russo, Marsh, and Rogers fax number in that area code is 441-6057.

Funny, I don't remember eyebrows giving out the phone #'s to moveon.org, Soros and the other 'rats when he fawned all over the events of Camp Casey.

Cindy Sheehan's photo ops of her kneeling in front of her son's pseudo-marker are as phony and staged as John Effin Kerry's photo ops with firearms during last year's presidential election campaign.

Since Cindy's such a drama queen, maybe ABC or one of the other dinosaur networks can pick up her story and base a soap opera on it.

It's an outpouring of emotion that is part of a scheduled news event organized daily for the television radio and print reporters who crowd in to capture a mother's grief.

Grief and suffering on demand for the camera!?!?!

I finally got a clue and stopped buying Ben and Jerry's ice cream. Yeah, it's the best ice cream I've ever tasted, and I LOVE ice cream, but dang it, I'm so sick of their extreme left-wing activism. I decided I was no longer going to fund their lunacy.

Every time I bought a pint of B&J I may as well have been handing $2.50 over to the loons themselves. Who could then turn around and slap me and every other conservative in the face with it. No more.

So I went on the hunt for new ice cream (ice cream's a serious thing with me), and you know what? I found a terrific one--the new light Haagen Daz in cherry fudge truffle or smores! Half the fat -- but it's good! Bye bye Ben and Jerry's!

This is at least part of the answer. My apologies if this has been posted previously. I have not checked all the many threads.

IVAW (Iraq Veterans Againist the War and an extension of John Kerry's old VVAW) joins with GSFP (Cindy Sheehan), Global Exchange and Code Pink (Medea Benjamin), and others:

Search and excerpt from http://www.vvaw.org/veteran/article/?id=532&hilite=Cindy
titled "IVAW Holds First National Meetings at Fort Bragg"

"The weekend of March 19–20, 2005, could become known as the "beginning of the end" of the disaster in Iraq, as history was made with the national launching of three powerful groups opposed to the war: Iraq Veterans Against the War (IVAW), Gold Star Families for Peace (GSFP), and Military Families Speak Out (MFSO)."

-snip-

"VVAW national contacts Hannah Frisch, Bill Perry, Dave Cline, and me [Ward Riley] ...Cline, who was honored with the opportunity to open the first national meeting for IVAW."

-snip-

"The list of speakers was long, and notable speakers included IVAW cofounders Kelley Dougherty, Mike Hoffman and Jimmy Massey; Cindy Sheehan of GSFP; Lou Plummer, vet and MFSO cofounder; Medea Benjamin of Global Exchange and Code Pink; Stan Goff, Special Forces master sergeant for twenty years...; VFP executive director Michael McPhearson; Dennis Kyne, ...Desert Storm veteran...; Congresswoman Lynn Woolsey, who has a bill on the floor to end the occupation in Iraq; and Michael Berg, the father of Nick Berg..."

-snip-

"And now begins the push to get the word to the media, and to get these groups in front of Congress, so they can tell the truth about what is happening in Iraq. That might force Congress to quit funding this war crime."

---End excerpts---

"Cindy Sheehan kneels before a cross with her son's name on it, touches his picture, wipes her tears."

That fake b*tch has got it down pat now, turns the tears on and off on cue. She never was his mother, having abandoned him when he was a toddler, and only came back into his life a couple years ago, but even then, he wanted nothing to do with her. He didn't even call her "mom".

Then, even after knowing that John Kerry supported Sadr, even though just 3 days before Sadr and gang killed 20 Americans, including Casey Sheehan, Cindy joined John Kerry on the campaign trail, making money acting as the grieving mother during the presidential campaign.

This is one cold hearted lying beotch, She doesn't give a damn about her son, his honor. All she cares about is herself, and the money she's raking in being an actress for the lying left. SHAME on her, SHAME on John Kerry, for he's the one who created her so he could live his anti- war days all over again through her. I hope they all burn in hell.

Surely there is a little something from Theresa Heinz Kerry - or rather, the 'Tides Foundation'. . .or some other. . .somesuch. . .and maybe just a small check from the hubby, himself.

Food catering is expensive.

Really wish a 'journalist' would ask what these individuals might do for a living. . .and ask; who paid their way. . .

Someone at the MAF rally in Crawford needs to make a BIG sign reading: THIS SIGN IS NOT PAID FOR BY BEN & JERRY'S!
The word needs to get out that the peaceniks are being paid to demonstrate by the usual leftists.

Cindy Sheehan (about her son): "And I'm never going to see him again, I'm never going to hold him again, I'm never going to hear his voice again."

He's probably reading this from heaven's door and shouting "YAY!!"

I heard today that a "Fundamentalist Christian Watchdog Group" was accusing Pat Robertson of violating his tax exempt status because of the remarks he made the other day about Hugo Chavez.

My question is, is there anyone who is looking into CodePinko, MoveOn.org, and others, for violations of their 501c3 status?? These groups have been flagrantly violating the law for years, and I've heard precious little about any serious investigations of their political activites and funding.
