(TUCSON, Ariz.) House Speaker Dennis Hastert says the long-awaited reform of immigration laws will be atop the list of chores when Congress reconvenes. However, he says you can't have legislation without consensus. He noted during a stop in Tucson that there are even wide differences in Arizona's congressional delegation on how do deal with illegal immigration.
Hastert said whatever legislation surfaces from the process must address border security, a workable guest-worker program and how to deal with the millions of illegal immigrants living and raising families in the U-S.
The House speaker was in Tucson yesterday to attend a fund-raiser for Republican Congressman Jim Kolbe's upcoming bid for re-election.

Take yer time, Dennis, it's not like we're in any rush.

Sure, yeah. We want consensus with Ed Pastor, Raul Grijalva, and Janet Napolitano. Why even elect Republicans?
There is NO "workable guest-worker program," period. Except for tossing them back across the border.
And we could do the same thing to the, "millions of illegal immigrants living and raising families in the U-S," and, if the polls are right 80% of the folks here LEGALLY would have big smiles on their faces.
I'm really surprised (seriously) that Dennis didn't have a proposal to punish employers of Criminal Aliens. The companies that hire the people are committing a federal crime. They should be punished too.
Already pimping that guest worker amnesty. No thanks, Hastert.
Hastert is just another bush butt kisser!
He can take his guest worker BS and shove it.
I don't believe that, are you telling me Hastert and the GOP establishment support that phony conservative Jim Kolbe. What happened to my party?
Guest worker=AMNESTY
Try again, Hastert.
NOTE TO GOP: LISTEN TO "WE THE PEOPLE". OR FOLLOW THE WHIGS.
Our party is all on 'the take' from the big corporations that like the payroll savings. i.e. Tyson Foods.
...and the opinion of the vast majority of American citizens will not be addressed at all.
Here's my answer to Dennis Hastert and his namby-pamby cohorts:

They won't do anything; but make the American people pay through the nose. It is REALLY time to go out and find some candidates that will REALLY do the will of the people. I think we should conduct interviews.
With friends like Kolbe and Hastert, who needs enemies.
No way I will _EVER_ vote for Kolbe.
1. Supports Illegals
2. Supports Sodomy and Sodomizers weddings, Sodomizers in the Military
3. Friends of Soros, who finances his campaign
4. Anti 2nd Amendment - Tucson Rod and Gun Club - he promised a new range for the Forest Service closure in 1996 - what year is it now?
5. Hamstrung the Border patrol by closing BP checkpoints on I19 and roads heading north from Mexico.
6. Had his own home broken into by Illegals. Yeah he is the leader on homeland security.
7. Member of CFR
8. Did not legislate any bills of value for Arizona for the past 2 years - check his own website and congressional record.
Any friend of Kolbe is no friend of mine.
