So true... The Jesuit who celebrates one of the Sunday masses at my local parish addresses 3 things in his homilies: 1) Condoms (he has an interdisciplinary doctorate in "AIDS theology") 2) Cindy Sheehan and her "prophetic voice" and 3) why the Catholic Church could learn about unity and joy from the Episcopal Church. Utterly ridiculous.
I personally would not choose to take sacraments with such a misguided moron as you describe, but I know that in some parts of the country we can't pick and choose.
