If your an Armadillo. I personally can't see how people deal with the stifling heat and uninhabitable humidity there.

At least the electricity is reliable.

And more, Texas has it's own power grid. Has it's own nuke plants, own oil and gas wells.
Everything it needs to become it's own country again, probly should.

Be NICE or we might shut down a few compressors in Goldsmith

Yeah, yeah I've been in Cal all my life and had one black out that lasted 1 minute. Not to be offensive or anything, but I could never live in Texas. With the Venus like atmosphere of humidity, compounded by that heat, I'd wind up murdering people. LOL!

Not all, and there are a couple of "tie-lines" between the 'island' portion that is independent from the other two main 'grids' (east and west) to the eastern grid ...

A portion of the far eastern part of the state *is* connected to the 'eastern' grid.

If your an Armadillo.

We drove east thru Armadillo a year and a half ago...looked like a nice town, and the Tejas Visitor's Center there was great. They directed us in the proper direction towards OKC, but we decided to spend one last night in the Lone Star State....Shamrock.

Cute town, good hotel, great food, friendly people.....but best of all, it was pretty much beyond the horrendous fog that kicked in just east of Armadillo.
