Eliot Spitzer (D) | 55% |
Other | 7% |
Election 2006 Maryland Governor |
|
Tom Golisano (R) | 23% |
Eliot Spitzer (D) | 52% |
Other | 9% |
In light of Spitzer's prior record, I'd be heading for the borders if I were a corporation doing business in NY.
But such things may quickly move from speculation to reality.
So, Weld has already been a governor in MA, and now wants to become one in NY. Is he trying for a Guinness records book, or is it in the [blue] blood?
Tom Golisano is probably going to run.
Randy Daniels is going to run.
We'll see what the primary winds up.
The state GOP is in pretty bad shape, so I wouldn't expect much.
Wasn't Andrew Cuomo talking about running, too?
I think he's running for AG.
Spitzer will refuse to relase these. The left-wing media will cover for him. But, we should be prepared to have the words of the scumbag dems that relate to Roberts, thrown back at them with Spitzer.
Wall street will move OUT of NY. along with most of BIG Business.
NY will be more PC, than it is and the UN-employment will
go back to 10 percent,
Anyone want to BET ???
New York is evidently as bad a place as California. It doesn't even have the redeeming value of being pretty without its people.
They can have Spitzer if they are stupid enough to want him, but more and more jobs will hemorrage in the state following his election.
Well, I guess it has its moments.
Does anyone know where Spitzer stands on the New York Medicaid monster?
gs-funny you should mention guinness , as i recall that was his drink of choice at doyles when in high thirst. weld is a good guy. he is a fine debater and he and pirro will bring life to the ny (dare i say the word)? republicans. he's a rudy kinda guy. he was popular with a lot of folks back home. there were many a weld sighting at the greatful dead shows at the old gardens. the two of them will force the dems to focus time and money on what they assumed were sure bets. i promise you this , if he wants it he will give them a hell of a show. forget the polls . wait until weld gets out there. i tellin ya , people like him. of course we know new yorkers would never vote for a carpetbagger.
I have never seen a mad-dog prosecutor who isn't using the DA's office as a springboard for gaining more political power.
Don't trust 'em! Especially a gun-grabbing nanny-statist like this Spitzer guy.
It's almost time for Weld to begin his "listening tour."
Oh yeah -- and Cuomo's the "moderate" candidate; he's running against RFK Jr.
