However, when I see young black men wearing their hats sideways, and their pants hanging off, covered in jewelry, swaggering around using filthy language, they frighten me.

I do not think it is a black/white thing. It is a perception of good vs. bad when these young men walk, talk and dress like gang members.

Your defense mechanism is alerted when you are confronted with a situation like the one you described. That's natural, and it is wise to think twice on that one. When standing, I'm a 6' 6", 275 lb. man. My defense mechanism automatically arises when I come into contact with younger black men dressed as you described.

Personally, I think the current pop culture that exists in the black community has done a lot of damage.

Yes, it has done irreparable damage. It was planned to do that damage precisely. The young black men's actions and how they carry themselves was provoked purposefully to retrieve precisely those young black men's reactions and attitudes, as it was to conjure up images in you and other mainstream Americans about what every young black man is supposed to be about.

I've said before and I'll say again and again that black America is a Marxist Laboratory. This is NOT! NOT! NOT! an indictment on white people. It is an indictment of the Democrat machine.

I am certainly not trying to offend. I just want your opinion on the current culture, and whether you think my perception of why some people on these threads might have said some of the things they said.

I won't go into that. It serves no purpose, really. If a black man doesn't want to get along with a white man, he won't. If a white man doesn't want to get along with a black man, he won't.

I'll leave it at that.

The young black men's actions and how they carry themselves was provoked purposefully

By whom?

My earlier point that I don't think I ever really made was that I think the term "racist" is thrown around far too easily.

I know many white people won't even get into a conversation of this nature for fear of being labeled a racist.

But if I dress and act like a whore, I shouldn't be surprised if that is how men treat me. And it doesn't make them sexist pigs, either.

These guys who dress and act like gangsters, and then scream racism when someone perceives them that way, really get on my nerves.

As a 6'5" 240lb white man...I somehow feel reassured that the same thought process/defense mechanism occurs inside of your head too! ;)

Bravo Sierra...but one question...

"It was planned to do that damage precisely." OK, maybe I will be coming off like a clueless person here...but, WHO planned to do that damage precisely? Dems/libs in entertainment? So that they have huddled and dependant group of people to sell their "product "/destructive culture to?

Uh, RDB3? Remember that post where I said Mr. HR and I would love to have you over for a "healing" Texas cuisine dinner? We have a kid in college......we'll have to save up some $ before we can feed you dinner, I think.....(hope you're doing better and keeping up your sense of humor).
