As a 6'5" 240lb white man...I somehow feel reassured that the same thought process/defense mechanism occurs inside of your head too! ;)
Personally, I think the current pop culture that exists in the black community has done a lot of damage.
Yes, it has done irreparable damage. It was planned to do that damage precisely. The young black men's actions and how they carry themselves was provoked purposefully to retrieve precisely those young black men's reactions and attitudes, as it was to conjure up images in you and other mainstream Americans about what every young black man is supposed to be about.
Bravo Sierra...but one question...
"It was planned to do that damage precisely." OK, maybe I will be coming off like a clueless person here...but, WHO planned to do that damage precisely? Dems/libs in entertainment? So that they have huddled and dependant group of people to sell their "product "/destructive culture to?
Since I'm quite buzzed right now, the short answer is to consider the before-and-after affects of the mid-50s through the early-70s. Look at black America when Ike was president, then compare that image to the one in 1974.
What changed? What was achieved? The pieces are right in front of us. I tell you what; either here or in FReepmail, I promise to answer you in totality when I'm not so groggy.
