While news cameras were filming the event, Marine Jeff Key physically grabbed a cameraman from San Francisco local affiliate KGO. Key objected to the cameraman’s shooting position, which was on the same site where the protesters have erected crosses listing the names of fallen soldiers in Iraq. Here's a photo from right before the altercation took place:
I asked Mark Matthews of KGO about the alleged assault, “I’m not happy about it. We’re happy to abide by the rules when we know what the rules are. But there was no message communicated to us to stay out of the crosses. And last night, photographers, supporters of Cindy Sheehan, people praying, clapping and singing were here amongst the crosses. 13 hours later, it’s off limits without any notification to us.”
I asked one of Sheehan’s spokeswoman if she condoned Key’s assault of the cameraman. She would not answer my question directly, instead saying, “I think if we all do our fair share, we’ll work to keep everybody out of the way … That’s all we need is to have people stay out of the crosses … I think that’s all being worked out privately. I think the cameraman and the Iraq veteran was doing his best to honor the fallen will work it out.”

Hi, there, 911angellady. I was going to welcome you to FR this morning (very early) on Zac's Mom's thread, but was way behind getting ready for work, so I will take this opportunity to do so. I must admit seeing them use those crosses for such evil purposes has me feeling pretty angry.
Me, I don't make the silly assumption that knowing something about their politics tells me anything about whether or not they believe in God. But I guess that's because I don't have your talent for divining their beliefs.

Perfect example, Piss Christ made people made because a religious symbol, in this case a cross cross was used in a sensational manner. Exactly what Camp fruitbag is doing with their pretend crosses.

I picked up on it because it fits her selfish agenda. It has to be about her and only bout her. That Ex-Marine is just one of the clowns in this circus freak show.
Kinda goes without saying that they aren't 'pretend', then. Maybe some folks want to call them 'pretend' so doing things like driving over them will be excusable. Maybe those were 'pretend' flags, too, since these folks are obviously America-haters.
Unlikely. Sheehan is from Vacaville, which is just up the road from The Peoples Republic of Davis. Their reps in every position from local on up to federal are already a bunch of well-entrenched flaming leftists, so she'd be competing with her own kind and probably wouldn't have party support.
