The fanatical American Baptist minister, Fred Phelps, is on his way to Sweden.
"We'll hunt down your king," he said ominously to Expressen. "It doesn't make any difference where he tries to hide."
Phelps' hatred of the royal family and all things Swedish is linked directly to his equally virulent hatred of homosexuals. He praises homophobic crimes, including murder. When controversial Swedish minister, Åke Green, was convicted of inciting hatred of homosexuals following an anti-gay sermon, Phelps saw red and turned his attention to Sweden.
"You're doomed to spend eternity in hell," he continued. "All you Swedes and your Swedish king and his family."

Can they keep him, please.
A bit queasy? This guy has no clue. Christianity has completely disowned this guy. The only reason he calls himself a minister and a Baptist is to defame the Church. He's not a religious leader.
Please tell me this is a sick parody...
Fred...there's no First Amendment in Stockholm. They'll toss your cracker behind on the first flight home.
Me thinks he doth protest too much.
My thought exactly, but it ain't gonna happen!
Crazy Phelps is going to get the Vikings riled up. He had better watch his step.
Hummmmmmmmm. Wonder where my remarks went? The Swedes won't keep them.
With any luck, in a cell.
Well hunt down your king might be taken as real unfriendly-like.
. . . somehow, they always forget to mention that this guy is a DEMOCRAT . . .
why can't people realize this is NOT a Christian Church!
This is exactly what Gramsci directed when he said that...
Both Capitalism and Judaeo-Christian culture must be destroyed before a Communist revolution can succeed --- Religious sentiment cannot be destroyed through legislation but must be redirected from the divine to the state.
Religion must be destroyed in the minds of men.
Infiltrate religious academies and become priests and clergymen. Subtly promote heresy within religious organizations and discredit the church.
financial and sexual scandals and eee that this is given a high profile in the news! Like-minded infiltrators in the media will cooperate.
Not a bad warning that we've had (and ignored) since about 1901
One hopes that Sweden will find and dust off some never-repealed law from 1427 or thereabouts concerning the penalties for making threats against the king.
This guy is a few verses short of a full Bible.
He aint one of ours. He is one of theirs.
The problem with his going to Sweden is that he could be prosecuted for hate speech the minute he opens his mouth, and no one will care, because he is so loathsome. His prosecution will set a precedent for public wholehearted acceptance of hate speech laws.
Sometimes I think he is merely playing a role for the elitist agenda.
I began to think along these lines when our local college put on the play about Phelps. It seems that if you buy the rights to perform the play about anti-gay hatred, you get an appearance from Phelps and his band of loonies in the bargain. Then you have an object lesson to go with your play and panel discussion and news coverage, all of which reinforces the message that people who oppose any aspect of the gay rights agenda are hate-filled loonies like Phelps.
Problem with the Swedes is entirely too many of them still possess a secret wish for the Nazis to return to power. For that they're going to need every swinging homosexual they have just to wear the costumes.
This guy is definitely working for the other side -- both temporally and spiritually.
He's also the guy who shows up at soldiers' funerals, saying something to the effect that the soldier died because God hated him because God hates America.
I'm only surprised that he hasn't met up with "foul play" yet; but, without advocating such a thing, I will say, may he reap what he sows.
Bump for later
