Police in Iraq say they have found the bodies of 36 men dumped in a shallow river near the town of Kut, south-east of the capital, Baghdad

That was came to mind also. Kut has been a center of the insurgency. Wonder if some of the good townspeople got fed up with the insurgents causing the trouble.
