Military families disturbed by a sea of crosses erected by anti-war protesters near President Bush's ranch in Crawford, Texas, have removed crosses bearing the names of their fallen children and transferred them to another site to show support for American troops in Iraq.

This is one of Mrs. Sheehan's handlers - Miriam Simios, a Code Pinko founder nick- named "Starhawk." She trains activists. You can get more info on her at www.starhawk.org.

Washington Times is friendly compared to its rival, but the headline could use work and would prefer they not fall into the trap of saying "Mr.". It's President Bush. The Style Book of every respectable newspaper calls for using a person's title the first time he/she is mentioned in an article. After that, it is appropriate to use Mr., Mrs. or Ms..
The Washington Times article did just that, by using "President Bush" in the first sentence.

I do feel complete and total disgust, loathing, anger, rage and hostility. There just doesn't seem to be enough nasty descriptors to get the point across about how we feel about them, does there?

"Pro-War"? I just love how the lame-stream has all these labels for folks who don't want their kin exploited (for political gain) by lefties. Love to see that blood run down the streets and lead fly through the air.
Just kidding of course.
Pro-freedom comes to mind...

What I read last night was that the Kerry campaign contacted a lot of people in Vacaville; many they were just trolling and got a hit with Cindy?

The person who has nothing for which he is willing to fight, nothing which is more important than his own personal safety, is a miserable creature and has no chance of being free unless made and kept so by the exertions of better men than himself" -- John Stuart Mill
Exactly. That's why I hate that song "Imagine" by John Lennon: no heaven, no religion, nothing to kill or die for - basically nothing worth fighting for = nothing worth living for. Sounds pretty depressing to me. And I love a millionaires living in the Dakata Apartments in New York preaching about no possessions. That song is like a Communist wet dream.

Crosses???
Crosses are a religious symbol of Christianity. What are these atheists doing using a religious symbol?

That was obvious by the why Cindy was talking at her Welcome Back Speech at Camp Nut Case

She's always been a Democrat according to what I've read. I think what was new from the posts yesterday is that after the family met with the President on June 18 was that her attitude to him became more positive and had softened to match what was reported in the original interview. Then for some reason Kerry's campaign contacted her and brought out her "real" self. Maybe it had something to do with Rather's fake memos and some of the other stuff like Kitty Kelly's book and F-9/11 that stirred her up to move back to her old positions. I could understand her really identifying with the Lipscomb woman. Maybe she contacted the DNC herself and then they came to her. Unless someone from her inner circle speaks out, I think it's not possible to say what really happened.
