Military families disturbed by a sea of crosses erected by anti-war protesters near President Bush's ranch in Crawford, Texas, have removed crosses bearing the names of their fallen children and transferred them to another site to show support for American troops in Iraq.

Isn't it on September 24th and it's really a rally that's been in the works for a long time, by A.N.S.W.E.R, or some such?

Which begs the question I need an answer to. Was this co-ordinated well in advance between these Leftist groups, Cindy and the MSM? Is this another "Fortunate Son"/Dan Rather front meant to appear spontaneous but in the works for a long time?

Yes, this was a long ago planned event and yes, same lefties handled and paid for by Cindy's mentors. The September 24th thingy is far from "spontaneous". And yes, the MSM has been told all about it in advance.

I remember seeing at least one thread posted about it, on FR, long ago.

Check this out:

What else do you say about a woman who allows people to to do this to her son?

http://news.yahoo.com/news?tmpl=story&u=/050818/480/casy10208180411

The sign on the front supposedly is Casey talking, saying "George, please speak with my mother."

Did you see the Vacaville thread? The poster there says Sheehan was a Bush supporter even after Casey died

UNTIL THE KERRY CAMPAIGN CAME TO SEE HER.

That can't be true...she has said that she refused to see or talk with her husband's family, since they voted for the president in 2000. But since Crazy Cindy lies...A LOT, maybe it is true.

I missed that thread, :-(

They do this to someone they supposedly love. They hate the military. These people are beyond disgusting.

Each time he removed a cross, protesters replaced it, he said.
I'd settle that quickly if I was that parent.I'd bounce that croos off of someones skull

These people are so f-ed up they really are.I love her shirt that says she want to know the truth .Like she would even recognize the truth if it bit her on the ass. These people are ignorant and pathetic.

That doesn't seem to fit, but then, Cindy doesn't seem all right in the head. This woman didn't seem repulsed by the President kissing her when they were photographed.

I really don't think she's bright enough to come up with any of what she states. That's my own view. The more I see of her the more I see an empty vessel having lines programmed to speak. Absent programming, it's entirely possible when greeted with sincerity, empathy and kindness as displayed to her in the prior meeting with the President that she instictively reacted as a normal human being, not activist, would.

I would ask, though, how the Kerry campaign would know to speak to her? Those things just don't happen, but it would solidify the thought the Left is trying orchestrate another co-ordinated scam. Guess we'll find out what other 'coincidental' happenings occur between now and the 24th of Sept.

Currently there is no federal law to regulate roadside memorials; an inconsistent mix of state and municipal policies currently rule the roads.

Here's a sampling of roadside memorial rules across the states: * Colorado, Massachusetts and Wisconsin prohibit roadside memorials.

West Virginia allows roadside memorials, but permits transportation officials to remove them without notice if the markers are deemed a safety hazard or interfere with regular highway maintenance. New York leaves it up to municipalities to implement rules.

In California, roadside memorials are allowed for victims killed in a crash involving alcohol or drugs, and victims' families must pay the state a fee of $1,000.

In Missouri, family members must sign a three-year contract promising to upkeep the memorial site.

Texas and Florida allow only state-funded uniform memorials that can be applied for by contacting the departments of Transportation. Florida memorials are plain white, bear the victim's name and read "Drive Safely."

And New Mexico residents can purchase a sign from the state for $200 that will remain in place for one year.

IMO .. I think so .. it was a PR stunt to get attention

Sheehan was a presence at the June SOULstice, an antiwar protest in New Orleans, and plans to ride with New Orleanians and others on "The Peace Train" on Sept. 22 to a national weekend of anti war protest in Washington, D.C. The Louisiana Activists Network (LAN) is sponsoring The Peace Train.

Doesn't sound like those crosses are legal in the State of Texas

Yep,and the one's being removed by Quall's and the other families are either going to private property or are taken home.

But that's to be expected from law-abiding citizens.

I think it was more than that. I think the Left (and I include Democrats) has had this in the works for months, maybe longer, just like they did the forged memos and Fortunate son campaign. They were waiting for a trigger to jumpstart an anti war campaign. They thought they had Americans where they wanted them with the polls, and so Cindy arrived in a ditch.

Which means, imo, they have other little stunts that will be meant to be seen as spontaneous set to go off in the coming weeks.

But it's already backfiring. So its dependant on the Left to determine just how big of a flame they want to go down in by miscalculating where the country's sentiment would be. Will they pull the other 'spontaneous' events they had planned with the co-ordinated entrance of elected Dems into the Woodstock revival, or will they continue down this road obstinately in the belief the American people won't punish them but rather G.W.B.

Pro-war.

So does this mean from now on, instead of referring to themselves as "pro-choice," they'll now refer to themselves as "pro-abortion?"
