CRAWFORD, Texas — A fallen soldier's mother who started an anti-war demonstration near President Bush's ranch returned Wednesday after a weeklong absence for a family emergency.

About a dozen protesters who have continued the peace vigil picked up Cindy Sheehan at the Waco airport Wednesday afternoon, six days after she flew to Los Angeles when her 74-year-old mother suffered a stroke.

"This is where I belong, until Aug. 31, like I told the president," Sheehan said at the airport before driving about 20 miles to the Crawford site.

Even Fox News carries AP's breathless reporting that Mother Sheehan has gloriously returned to Crawford - I wonder if the same AP reporter (or the MSM in general) will afford as much coverage to the return of, you know, the PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES?!

"Mother Sheehan."

Why don't they ever mention her middle name? It rhymes with "sucker."

"This is where I belong, until Aug. 31, like I told the president,"

You mean like you told the leftist scumbag anti-American media.

Anyone ever uses my corpse and a soapbox like this and I will haunt them for the rest of their days.

I made sure to tell my liberal sister that before I deployed, too.

I will not give her the satisfaction of calling her 'Mother Sheehan', even in jest.

Is Cindy Sheehan, fresh back from her visit to her mother's bedside, any more coherent than she was a few days ago?

If not, they may have to send her away again.

Or have John Kerry come down and give her the hug she so desperately craves.

That's right. Let her meet with Saddam Hussein.

I'm sure Hagel and Durbin would like to be in attendance and croon "Can You Feel the Love?" when they meet...

The media should be beginning their mad dash to distance themselves from her any moment. You'll know the truth as soon as her public relations manager abandons her and returns to her office in California.

Has anybody actually verified that her mother had the stroke?

And where are Cindy's kids? With her? What is Cindy's parenting style, anyway?

There is nothing worse than a NUT who thinks they are on some kind of *mission*. Thank you Fox News for contributing to the neverending spectacle. I never thought I would say this, but I would rather hear Aruba news and discussions.

"This is where I belong, until Aug. 31, like I told the president," Sheehan said, adding, "But next summer can you vacation in Kennebunkport? It's hot as hell here."

Has anyone ever verified that her mother actually had a stroke? All of the reports that I saw were sourced to her, and not to some reliable source.

How big is the MoveForward crowd. Have not heard anything about them. Was it a dud? I saw no pics. If there are stories and pics they should be sent out beyond conservative sites. AM Talk Radio talked more about "Mother Sheehan" today than they did MoveForward.org. Rush never even mentioned it. Singing to the choir is good and all, but that's not what the left's doing. They are singing to the whole nation...so loud I have yet seen a major MoveForward crowd. Maybe I'm wrong. I hope so. Needs to be promoted beyond conservative websites.

"Mother Sheehan"? Sounds suspiciously like "Mamma T" I prefer Cindy the Stalking Psycho. Alliterative and accurate ;-)

Did you catch her comment about how the "universe" chose her? She's supposed to be a Catholic, you know.

"The merit of the action lies in finishing it to the end." (Genghis Khan)

Who is more patient, Mother Sheehan or Pres. Bush?
