It's depressing that so many still don't realize that the war on worldwide terrorism is being fought poorly here at home...in the media and with concerted and determined efforts of our Democrat elected officials.
At this point half of all Americans don't have a clue as to what we are doing in Iraq, how it fits and connects to our global strategy, who the rest of our enemies really are and host of related factors. Most of that half sincerely believe that our President is a mad man.
Will the decent intentions of a talk radio announcer make any kind of impression to alter any of this? Bless him for trying. No one else seems to be working on this.

There is an interesting post in POwerLine about how the war is being reported. Just the casualties,no context, no strategies.

Remember last November, the battle of Fallujah. Apparently, there were significant breakthroughs in urban fighting. The Marines did incredible. Now what did we get from Fallujah, just the image of that Marine shooting that poor, unarmed insurgent.

My mounting frustration with the Bush administration, why are they letting the media get away with it. Why not have a high level admin official give a weekly briefing giving context, strategy.

They have left the fifth column to report on the war, no wonder the American people are turning against it.
