Afternoon, HiJinx!
Lauren told me that they are going via I-40 from Albuquerque to Amarillo, then down a Texas state highway to the Dallas area and then on down, probably I-35 to Waco then Crawford.
Are you close enough to Phoenix to go see them this afternoon? Sorry, can't remember exactly where you are. Sure hope you get to! That would be so awesome!

That's right...I just went back to the Caravan thread and I see that they are going to overnight in Albuquerque before heading on over to Amarillo.
What I didn't see was whether they had planned a stop in Yuma. With both the Marine Corps Air Station and the Army Proving Ground there, it would have been a perfect place to speak with more military supporters.
I wish I could be in Phoenix this afternoon...

I know it must have been hard to let them go without you...but, girl, at least you got to see them and tell them how much you admire what they're doing. I hope they have so many people there that it is just overwhelming! How many do you estimate were in the Caravan?

That really does stink! And only three hours away! I am a good 6-7 hours away from the action anywhere here in Texas. And I have to work on Saturday, darn it! *sigh* You and I just don't have good luck on this thing!
But we can and do support them right here in the Canteen, can't we! Yeehhaaawwww!

Hi beachie,
I teach piano lessons. I have about 40 students. Most take a half hour lesson once a week, a few take 45 minute lessons.
That's half of my "job"; the other half is playing piano for various & sundry things, such as church, schools, theater groups, etc. Mostly free-lance-type stuff but a few regular gigs that I can always count on.
So it's pretty much music-all-the-time for me, which is great because it's what I love to do.:)
