Pat Robertson was acting in his capacity as a television commentator and offered his opinion that the United States government should consider lifting it's 30 year old ban on political assassination against a sworn enemy of the United States. How many of us have opined that the IRS should be abolished, that the federal judiciary should be reined in, that members of the left should be prosecuted, that the United States should invade Syria, North Korea or Iran, etc. So how is this any different than Robertson offering an opinion.

A Muslim imam orders his armed terrorist followers to kill innocent civilians, and they do it.

I would say this is a huge difference.

It's interesting that Robertson has no followup statement on his website.

Pat Robertson was acting in his capacity as a television commentator...
of a religious show on a religious network.

I still see absolutely no difference between Robertson and his comments and an inman's with his. Both use religion for their own perverted disgusting ends of violence and death.

Again post #14 - the critics of Robertson reminds me how FReepers were foaming at the mouth (Dane, Bayourod) over Tancredo's statement. I guess some people have trouble reading and would rather believe the spin from the MSM.
