We cannot defend everything, appease or isolate ourselves from these people. I thought after 9-11 even the most cast iron conservative would realize that! Isolationism has NEVER worked. We will never be able to kill all of the people who hate us, and there's evidence that the more of them we kill, the more that replace them. So, according to you, we can NEVER declare victory and leave Iraq. Because that would just be spun in Pakistan and Saudi Arabia and elsewhere as running away in defeat.
