Hi, scubachick! Thanks for the warm words today. You need to get Lori to make you a logo! There's no end to scuba diving gifs to be had! I'm glad you like the logos we've posted so far. So many of them are several years old, but a few new ones. Fun to do, and Lori makes neat ones, too! (Get with it, sistah - *scubachick* - and *babychick*, which should be a snap!) :)
LOLOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Close on the broadcasting - that was DE & MD - not NJ
But the other also is sort of true - but Gabz just sounds a lot better than Gabby (that one I always disliked)
I am glad to see you still enjoy using the Lady X blowing kisses sig - your name, had I not known you, would have been a hard one to *do*. :)
Love ya!
Phil V. invented SocksC.underbed@WH.gov...who often blabbed to us what REALLY was happening in the White House under the Dynamic Duo..:))
His poor widdle life was in constant danger from discovery, and indeed one day he had to flee - - those threads were the epitome of on-the-spot creativity, everyone adding their own funny happenings as he fled north on I-95 - was hit by a car and rolled down an embankment - struggled back up only to get shot!
Phil V. as Pharmer Phil and his wife had SocksC. whisked away to Da Pharm in California, where he was nursed back to good health.
Thereafter, PhilV. would dress in drag and hop on his Ferguson tractor to go to Albertson's grocery store to get the latest Tabloid Trash to post for us!
Thanks, dixie - I have missed you! I do think everyone takes a break from time to time though, and we're always glad when you/they return. :)
What a sweetheart owl you are! Bluebird hugs!
I apologize for being so late with the holidays, but things have been crazy on this end of the Internet today. Anyway, here they are...and they're pretty good ones too.
Hug Your Sweetheart Day
Ride The Wind Day
(If someone already posted these, thank you - I'm trying to catch up with the thread.)
Isn't it odd? I switched back to AOL's browser, and the text and background colors break in all the right places. I'll never understand where the difference is. The text doesn't appear any smaller OR larger in the Firefox browser. (Maybe the space BETWEEN the lines is different)
Warm smile received and returning ... thank you, Billie Blue ... )
That's such a sweet little gif - and I recognize that font - don't see it often, but I have it in my collection. :)
T Man was around this weekend - Maggie coaxed him out by telling him I wouldn't cook for him anymore if he'd come back. :)
Hi Billie.
I just wanted to experiment with it to see if I got the minimizing down.;)
It is beautiful just the way it is.
HUGS!!!
LOL, I remember that shot of Kenneth Starr as well.
As for the screen name it never occurred to me to think a negative X in any shape, fashion, or form. There is always a positive for every negative.
Great story.
Was so busy explaining why I wanted a purple flower for a sig gif forgot to tell why I choose Aquamarine for my screen name.
Signed up the first time in December of 2000 during the election fiasco as Original Intent. OI was a favorite book with an important message and this seemed like a good place to draw attention to the subject matter which I was able to do later in a much different way than I ever imagined (thanks to you Billie) :) Wasn't ready to drop the cookies and a few months later when I was ready to I didn't know how to retrieve my screen name. Needed a new name quick so signed up again as my favorite color (and birthstone).
Marissa, I have so enjoyed reading about your travels with Grandma and MamaBear. I turned green with envy when I saw the photos of you and FreetheHostages at the high tea in D.C. You were all dressed very appropriately...Maybe someday they will bring you to San Diego to see our zoo, Wild Animal Park, Legoland, SeaWorld, beaches, etc.

Oh good, Dave retrieved your beautiful sig gif. Must have been at the bottom of the ocean. :)
Meant to ping you to #159.
