Hi, scubachick! Thanks for the warm words today. You need to get Lori to make you a logo! There's no end to scuba diving gifs to be had! I'm glad you like the logos we've posted so far. So many of them are several years old, but a few new ones. Fun to do, and Lori makes neat ones, too! (Get with it, sistah - *scubachick* - and *babychick*, which should be a snap!) :)

LOLOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Close on the broadcasting - that was DE & MD - not NJ

But the other also is sort of true - but Gabz just sounds a lot better than Gabby (that one I always disliked)

Sigh! Your post #76 was at 2:00 - it's 3 hours and 45 minutes later, and I'm just getting to where you are. This was to be a quick and easy thread to do, Maggie, when we talked about what I was going to post for today. Well, it is *easy* but it wasn't quick. For me, though, it's way easier to make it up as I go along than to go and research something to post! LOL! That's why there are so many of mine that are just *stuff* that I dream up.

I am glad to see you still enjoy using the Lady X blowing kisses sig - your name, had I not known you, would have been a hard one to *do*. :)

Love ya!

Thank you, Dave!!!
Whether you are an oldtimer who was here then or not, it always is a delight to reread some of those Classic Humor Threads.

Phil V. invented SocksC.underbed@WH.gov...who often blabbed to us what REALLY was happening in the White House under the Dynamic Duo..:))

His poor widdle life was in constant danger from discovery, and indeed one day he had to flee - - those threads were the epitome of on-the-spot creativity, everyone adding their own funny happenings as he fled north on I-95 - was hit by a car and rolled down an embankment - struggled back up only to get shot!

Phil V. as Pharmer Phil and his wife had SocksC. whisked away to Da Pharm in California, where he was nursed back to good health.

Thereafter, PhilV. would dress in drag and hop on his Ferguson tractor to go to Albertson's grocery store to get the latest Tabloid Trash to post for us!

Thanks, dixie - I have missed you! I do think everyone takes a break from time to time though, and we're always glad when you/they return. :)

I apologize for being so late with the holidays, but things have been crazy on this end of the Internet today. Anyway, here they are...and they're pretty good ones too.

Hug Your Sweetheart Day
Ride The Wind Day

(If someone already posted these, thank you - I'm trying to catch up with the thread.)

And since I'm using FoxFire, that's just what I did!

Isn't it odd? I switched back to AOL's browser, and the text and background colors break in all the right places. I'll never understand where the difference is. The text doesn't appear any smaller OR larger in the Firefox browser. (Maybe the space BETWEEN the lines is different)

I had a lot of little dolls, but now that I've gotten my hair cut short, I'm going to have to make new ones. LOL!

T Man was around this weekend - Maggie coaxed him out by telling him I wouldn't cook for him anymore if he'd come back. :)

Thanks so much, DD. That thread was a long time ago but so much fun to do and interesting to learn about you, too. Hope you and yours (including Christian and Logan David) are all well.

LOL, I remember that shot of Kenneth Starr as well.

As for the screen name it never occurred to me to think a negative X in any shape, fashion, or form. There is always a positive for every negative.

Great story.

To: Billie; All

Was so busy explaining why I wanted a purple flower for a sig gif forgot to tell why I choose Aquamarine for my screen name.
Signed up the first time in December of 2000 during the election fiasco as Original Intent. OI was a favorite book with an important message and this seemed like a good place to draw attention to the subject matter which I was able to do later in a much different way than I ever imagined (thanks to you Billie) :) Wasn't ready to drop the cookies and a few months later when I was ready to I didn't know how to retrieve my screen name. Needed a new name quick so signed up again as my favorite color (and birthstone).

I am surprised that Uncle Louie has not done a name logo yet for PrissyMissy but I am sure it will be very special when he does.

Marissa, I have so enjoyed reading about your travels with Grandma and MamaBear. I turned green with envy when I saw the photos of you and FreetheHostages at the high tea in D.C. You were all dressed very appropriately...Maybe someday they will bring you to San Diego to see our zoo, Wild Animal Park, Legoland, SeaWorld, beaches, etc.
