Many of those who watched the National Geograhic program on the 9/11 attack "Inside 9/11" caught the following statement:
"At this air force base in Tampa (picture of entrance gate to Macdill Air Force Base), members of the U.S. Army special operations command are reviewing an unusual chart that reportedly identifies both Atta (picture id of Atta shown) and Al-Shehhi (picture id of Al-Shehhi shown) as likely members of an Al-Qaeda terror cell operating within the united states. the officials decide they cannot pass this information along to the FBI, in part because the men are holding valid U.S. visas and may be off limits from intelligence gathering by the military."
When was the script for this program finalized and when was the decision to made to put this statement into the program?
Except for the initial statement from Rep. Curt Weldon back in June/July, the entire topic of Able Danger has only surfaced in the MSM within the past 2 weeks. I find it very interesting that National Geograhic would "go out on a limb" and include the Able Danger reference without having a reasonable confort level with it.
Anybody have any contacts at National Geographic?
Do they really have "The United States" in lower case letters in the transcript?
I didn't see the National Geographic show. Thanks for posting this information!
Thanks for the post, Jambe. I also think that the fact that the makers of this film came up with this information independently is highly significant. They should come forward with their sources.
I watched last night. Very very well done program. Be looking out for encore showings sure to be had as we approach 9/11 anniversary.
I watched this program last night, and if you didn't know about 'able danger' you wouldn't have caught it, but since I know about 'able danger' it really stuck out....also there was a part where a Military person was talking and he said that they tried to let people know, it was done very smoothly and if you were not paying attention, you would have missed it....
It was an excellent program, and clinton, clinton and gore should be tried for treason, they knew and did nothing but put up walls...lie, cheat, steal, give secrets away, party, have sex, and the list goes on and on....our Country is safer now than its ever been...
And if you want another clinton in office, you'll get worse that what clinton, clinton and gore gave us....NOTHING!
May the next showing close with the Clintons being led away in handcuffs.
You may have noticed, as I did, that the al Qaida timeline -- I think it was near the end of part 2 -- included events in July, 2005. So, it seems final production occurred quite recently.
At any rate, I recorded both parts on DVD and will be watching them again, soon.

A Pentagon investigation has found no evidence that Able Danger, a secret military intelligence operation, identified September 11 hijacker Mohamed Atta as a terror cell member more than a year before the attacks.

Pentagon and Clinton Administration's effort to "CYA." Let's pray that it can't be done.
Hey, I noticed the same statement in that program. Someone has done a nice job sanitizing these files as to not embarrass the commission and re-open the case.
A very nicely done program that you will not see on MSM. The first part of the show was not flattering to the Klintoons and is worth repeating on the networks but it never will. It was a nice tribute the heroes in the tower who help their coworkers out but stayed behind. The guy that rode the staircase down and the ones in the center stairwell should be in church everyday thanking God for his gift.
I am still angry to this day but after watching this I was livid again like the day it happened.
This global Islamo-facist terror campaign is a threat to the whole world and the sooner we root out, and yes, kill those who would so brazenly kill us the better. We are at war no different than when Pearl Harbor was attacked. The only difference is that in 1941 there was a pretty unanimous opinion that we would annihilate the enemy while in 2001 there are too many who believe we should negotiate, appease or capitulate to the enemy.
I was watching and it and had to turn it off...Couldnt stand all the Clinton neglagence
I watched the program and the Able Danger allusion was just sort of dropped into the narrative. It seemed orphaned because it came out of nowhere and led nowhere. But make no mistake, the producers were offering no proof of their own that Atta and others had been identified by anybody prior to September 11, 2001.
The producers should have postponed the airing until they could have better understood the veracity and meaning of Able Danger.
