Atlanta aint a real city. Just a bunch of sprawling suburbs with an office park in the middle.

Atlanta is the 9th largest media market in the country.

We in the Atlanta metro area are proud of our city but we aren't ignorant or naive enough to think that it compares to New York, Los Angeles or Chicago.

Those who live in Alabama are deluding themselves if they think that Birmigham can compare to Atlanta. Gwinnett county, one county in suburban Atlanta offers more culture, dining and economic power than any city in Alabama.

Ya'll can fight over Atlanta and Birmingham all ya'll want.

I prefer Nashville.

And I know Atlanta and Birmingham well.

Besides, let's get real....this ratings list is incredibly PC.

Been to Auburn, Phenix City and Mobile. Can't say I thought much of the state, although 'Bama has some friendly people. Reminds me of Central Pennsylvania without the Mennonites and with different accents (Y'all instead of Yunz).

I rate Atlanta above Houston yet below Denver for liveability. I personally need to be near a seacoast.

I have not lost a thing by not living in Atlanta or B'ham. I love the area we live in and would not want to live anywhere else. HSV is home sweet home.
