Senetor Chuck Hagle, a prospective 2008 republican presidential candidate, will be taking a trip to Crawford to join protesters and meet with Cindy Sheehan.
Hagel, a Republican from Nebraska, has recently criticized the Bush administration's prosecution of the warin Iraq, comparing it to Vietnam.
Many republicans were confused by his appearance on the weekend TV news shows, citing his statements to be virtually indistinguishable from those made by Senetor Ted Kennedy and failed Presidential candidate John Kerry.
Mrs. Sheehan has welcomed Chuck to the protest camp except suitable camping area is in low supply. Mrs. Sheehan warned that "there's not many places left to pitch a tent, maybe only the low wet areas of ditch are left", "and he better remember to bring his sun block because I saw him on TV this weekend and he looked pasty white".
Mrs. Sheehan is surprised to be joined by a republican. "Even though republicans are bottom feeders in general and he is from the party of the biggest Terrorist in the world, George Bush, we welcome anyone who would side with our radicalism"
Most of the protesters have struggled to maintain thier strength camping for extended periods. Betty Bitsher complained that it's a real challenge from not working a regular job to camping full time. "I've gathered sticks for the campfire for four days in a row and no one will help me. The local municipality should bring in some workers to keep us comfortable and a porta potty would be nice. It's getting really stinky behind that tree over there."
Mrs. Sheehan and protesters have been camping out in Crawford near the President's ranch for weeks.
Sorry, I ment Hagle.
If only I had been sober that fateful night.
If I had had a clue when I signed on AOL....
(At least I *did* drop the number.......LOL)
Chuck Hagel is absolutely despicable! He isn't a disgrace to the Republican party, he's a disgrace to this country! I don't care if he won more medals than Audie Murphy. He's been undercutting the war on terror for far too long. Why doesn't he just shove off to the place where he truly belongs. The party of appeasement. He can join Carter, Durbin and Kerry, and feel right at home.
While Hagel's there, maybe he can hand out water and driver's licenses to the illegals coming across the border.
I'm guessing that this is how you rated the movie Gigli.........
He should not be allowed to use the term Republican in his title. Total leftist on all issues.
And for you, the funniest reply.
Posted before I finished, the last line was "Yes, I know sarcasm" but the statement still stands.
In a rare photo Chuck Hagle is seen here while vacationing in his natural habitat.
