We don't need ANY illegals in this country PERIOD!

Anyone who says otherwise is a TOOL!

The Sacramento/Riverside/San Berdoo/N & E San Diego regions are some of the fastest growing regions in the US.

Good grief, I LIVE here! Doncha think I can see what's happening in those areas? Riverside/San Bernardino and North County San Diego are as inundated with illegals as the rest of the state. North County real estate is ridiculously high---not a damn bit "middle class." As for SB, I have a solidly middle class good friend in the Ontario area who acknowledges that the home he bought ten years ago wouldn't be affordable by him today.

Don't be surprised if the state starts trending back Repub in a few years.

"Few years"? Not if the illegal flow into the State, and the middle class outflow from the state keeps up. 'Course the housing market will probably crash here before then....

You miss my point. What I was saying was that the children of these LEGAL/citizen hard working Hispanics are now being screwed out of the very jobs their fathers did, by the illegals.

Gresham's law. Bad ethics (illegals) drive out good, (legals/citizens) all else being equal.

For every action, there is an opposite and equal reaction. You can add that 1%-2% back on because there will be far less spending on all the illegal schooling, welfare, and free emergency room visits. Things will get better for Americans, as it should be.

Tell you what, we'll chance it.

Let the shipping begin.

Yes, it is after five now, isn't it. Time to get off.

No, I got that too. And you are right.

Funny thing is, even Illegals already here don't want more coming. More just undercuts their already low wages.

The illegals, who didn't even bother to remove the shrubs from the plastic nursery pots, when they "planted" them for her my sister.

Sorry about that.

I would rather deal with an Hispanic, be they Puerto Rican (AMERICANS!), DR's, or Mexican parents wheter they be iileagal or not then the American parents of the children who live in the projects. Why you ask? Because 9 times out of 10 with the hispanics there are 2 parents at home, the father works and if the kid acts out of line, well he will not be able to sit for some time. The American parents who live in the projects and listen to FITY CENT, well they are 9 times ut of 10 a single mother with 5 kids from 5 men, they do not woirk, they BLAME SOMEONE else for their plight, and do not value an education

And...they are black, right? You're just proving the point others here have made better than I, that the illegal immigrant crisis derives from the desire of our elites and their hangers-on to import a new peon "underclass" to the detriment of all working American citizens, and especially African-Americans. The toleration of illegal immigration is a disservice to all Americans, but as statements such as by Vicente Fox that "Mexicans do work not even blacks will do" demonstrate, it is an especial and conscious disservice to black Americans.

Modernman writes:
For various reasons, we simply do not have a big enough (legal) labor pool in the US to meet all of the requirements of our economy.

Perhaps true, perhaps not. I would be willing to do without the illegals and see what happens. The market always rules, right?

Could our economy go on without illegals? Sure. But get ready to carve a percent or two off of our economy's rate of growth.

If that's the "price" of living without them, it is a price that is acceptable to me. Your mileage may vary. Carve away!

Prices for such things as construction, produce, building cleaning, meat, landscaping etc. would go up if illegals did not perform such jobs.

So be it. What about the "price for such things" as medical care for the illegals, education, social services, housing the ever-increasing number of illegal prisoners, etc.?

That's a hard reality. Now, whether such an economic sacrifice is worth securing our Southern border is the question.

The harder reality will be the ultimate destruction of our European-American culture and national sovereignty. For me, that trumps the "economic sacrifice" of getting rid of the illegals. I'll live with it.

Which do _you_ prefer?

Cheers! - John

Dear bayourod, Dear Dane:

Hi.

A quick question for the two of you, if you might kindly oblige.

Do either of you personally know an 'illegal alien' (or 'undocumented immigrant')?

"Do either of you personally know an 'illegal alien' (or 'undocumented immigrant')? "

I don't know anyone that I know for a fact is in violation of any immigration laws, either as an employer or employee. I have my suspicians but that's all they are.

By the way, I did report an immigrant to the FBI whose activities, combined with a number of other factors, I thought best for them to know about. The next day the alert level for the particular sector involved was rasied. Whether he was illegal I never knew. It really wasn't relevant

What then is your interest in defending people who hire illegals, and people who come here illegally to work illegally? You make insulting assumptions about people on this forum who oppose illegal immigration---that they're "losers" who "won't do the work a hard-working illegal will do," etc. What does the fact that you defend knowing and willful infractions of our national immigration laws allow us to assume about you?

Your billboard in Spanish, sponsored by Los Angeles County, advertising welfare for illegals is a good example of why it's more important to win elections than to prance around with glee for losing elections because you "stuck to your principles."

Those are California state, county, municipal and private programs. The only federal health and nutrition program that immigrants here less than five years are eligible for is the WIC program for American citizen babies, including the unborn human beings.

In Texas, the Republican attorney general ruled that hospital districts could not allow illegals to participate in maternity and well baby programs because that would constitute misappropriation of taxpayer dollars, a form of theft.

In California the uberconservatives would have called him a RINO and voted against him because he wasn't perfect on every issue.

Some people just don't understand the concept of electoral politics.
