I guess it is only during impeachment that the media finds a presidents ratings improving.

Who really cares about approval ratings in the second term?
It's all bs anyway. No way of knowing how legitimate or representative the sample actually is. They can make it say whatever they want.

Don't know why they are polling Bush, he's not running again. I guess they are figuring if Bush polls real low then that means defeat for Repubs in 2008. Liberal Pipe Dreams!

"Economic illiteracy is this country is astounding."
It's not illiteracy. It's a blatant disregard of fact.

This would have driven the Clintoon WH crazy, this Prez is too busy governing to bend to the whims of the MSM pollsters, like YHEY WISH HIM TO.
I'll go by the Nov 2004 poll results, that's one that truly counted, LMAO.

With these kind of numbers it shouldn't they dissolve the government and call for new elections? At least someone should notify the U.N. and see if they will issue a resolution.

It is funny that these polls always show Republicans as being unpopular, while Democrats are always popular, like the Clinton's. And this applies to virtually all stances on issues. It makes me wonder why Democrats continue to fail at the election booth. Is the fact that they do believe the polls and are fooled at the enc?

Media-pushed story - they can't get over the crushing losses from the past several elections, so they make stuff up to feel better. Demtards are going down in '06!

What are the approval ratings for potential and rumored Republican (and Democratic) candidates for 2008? That is what they should be polling...not Bush. He can't run for a third term.
To: mallardx
You notice how these rat polling companies always have a high undecided rate. Rasmussen which was the most accurate adds up to 100 percent in the polling which makes bush's polling higher.
36 +58=94 Add another 3 to the 36 and it is 39 and this poll is an outliner because rasmussen has him at 48 percent today.
To: advance_copy
Rasmussen 2004 10/29 - 10/31 51% 49% +2%
Rasmussen 2005 08/20 - 08/22 48% 51% -3%
Rasmussen was the most accurate predicting the final election.
These numbers are within the margin of error of each other.
Bush is basically just *slightly* below where he was on election day.
To: dogbyte12
The economic numbers probably all boil down to gas prices.
