As in our case our Judeo-Chrisitan religion has influenced a lot of the thinking in writing the laws of the nation, Islam will play this role in Iraq. It will have an effect mostly on divorce, marriage and other civil cases. There will be no mullahs that will rule Iraq and women will still have the rights to vote and be elected or appointed to many government offices.
