Howdy Rus, and thank you for getting us going with Military Monday to support our men and women in uniform across the world.

And Luv.. how exciting to know son David is coming home again. Is he career military? You may have mentioned prior but my mind is a sieve anymore it seems.

Early to bed (10-ish) - early to rise (4-ish) and I have already punched out some projects on the home front. I was so wiped out last night & had a bad headache for several days. It is a bit better today but still feeling it. Wont get to chiropractor until Tuesday PM the earliest.

Billie, that was such a nice weekend thread. flowed in many interesting /fun directions, didn't it. It is nice to have a friendly forum to come chat a bit when free moments are available & see what your FR buddies are up to.

Another busy couple days here. If I am smart/disciplined I will NOT be here often & get my work pressing work done. But my record isn't too good along those lines.

Our Noah's ark skit at the Sunday School picnic went off well. I was Dolly Couric a reporter in the Fertile Crescent covering the strange happenings. I was in charge & assigned our class members various characters & told everyone to use their imagination & ingenuity to come up with clever lines along the way.

I broke my commentary with weather & traffic conditions along the way. I had the minister be God & during our rehearsals (which was ONE, five minute practice before the picnic) he rather mimed his role.. okay, we were each to do what was good for us. Outdoors I saw him feverishly writing in back of pavilion during the younger classes presentations.

When I "introduced" him by reporting of the new dude in white who was in town & meeting with the stick - in -the -mud -NOah, he shocked/pleasantly surprised us ALL with a long RAP as his commentary on the world's sinful conditions & the instructions to Noah. The hundred or more in the pavilion were SILENT as he went on & on & there was a huge ovation when he finished. We should have just sat down then but kept going.

All the adult & Hs classes did skits. the younger classes did songs, verses etc.

Very fun time overall & of course too much food & I took a couple hundred pix that will be turned into a power point.

I do what I call "church mouse" power points a couple times a month. sometimes hi lighting a special function --- like VBS, ladies tea, seniors meetings etc. They are looped before and after services & create a lot of interest

Well as you all see, I am going on & on in the quest to avoid a few tasks here. Need to finish them up before 8 when I go to a nearby store that opens at 8 to get some needed supplies.

I need to bug, bomb the house again & will do so today when I take my "moving van" over to aunt to pick up a living room chair from my aunt who is moving to Fla (flying out tomorrow) for my mom's new room downstairs = that she may/may not ever get into .
