Nana arrives in Tucson around 10:30, I'm taking a half day off to go get her and her sister. Our youngest doesn't go to work until 3, so he's planning to come down and meet them too. That's a surprise. He's just far enough away now to be on his own, but to also drop in when he feels the urge. That's not too bad.
That is a good thing. He is just far enough away to miss his Mom and Dad. Going out on your own, means coming to the realization that just because you open a cupboard or drawer, all the stuff you are used to finding there, isn't. I remember my first apartment. Went to make cookies for a work thing...no cinnamon, no something else. Several trips to the store. Those things were always there at home.
