The ABC affiliate in Chicago plays the updates evey half hour. Ann Compton has never missed an opportunity to stick Bush in the ribs.

I have also noticed that they report every hour a story on the price of gas.

Yes. My local talk station, (WMAL AM630 Washington DC) is an ABC affiliate. It's strange to be listening to conservative (Michale Graham, Rush, Sean) talk interspersed with that lefty wench reading the news.

I say turn off the tv. Just walk away. There is nothing, nothing, worth watching. Even Fox News is crap. Pray. Read, do anything. Just turn off the box.

On Oct. 29, 2003, New York officials reduced the number of people killed at the World Trade Center in the September 11, 2001, terrorist attacks on the United States by 40 names. The list of casualties dropped to 2,752 from 2,792 for a variety of reasons: some people initially reported missing have been found, there were duplicate names, there was no proof that a person was at the World Trade Center that day, and because of fraud. On January 2004, the number was reduced by 3 more to 2,749.

Brian, I am standing up and cheering your post. You get it! This is one of the best descriptions of the left in this country to date. We are not only in a war with Islamic terrorists, we are in a war with the Marxist left in our own country, some who pretend to be "moderates" in order to gain power. God help us, you are sooooo right.

Ann Compton makes my blood boil.

Whenever she mentions the President's name I picture her mouth screwed up in an ugly grimace. She literally spits out his name with obvious contempt in her voice.

I employ the off button on my radio when ABC "news" spews.

I spit on talk radio.
Everyone spits on something.

I think there is an epic truth there somewhere, or at least an 80's power ballad.

Is this an Olypic event or just another passing of bodily fluid?

Great rant, and you articulate a number of spot on points.

One point though I disagree with is this:

"We are in a world war. The only thing the left has correct is, that yes before this is over, we will probably need to face loses of more than 30,000 troop causalities. Actually, this would be a small number in war, in fact such lose of only 30,000 would be a euphoric victory for the West considering the loses in the war against Japan or for that matter in any other war in the history of the entire world."

Before we approach anywhere near that number, don't you think we ought to define "victory" and what exactly we will be "winning"?

"Because before this is over, we may have to go into Iran, and hold back Korea and China from taking any advantage, somehow ally Russia and India with us and not with them, and perhaps need to go into Egypt, Saudi, and many other such countries including extensive operations in the Philippines, islands of Indonesia, and such. And we will perhaps need to convince Japan to re-arm and engage extensively in operations....

And, we may have to take millions of causalities. And this may include nuclear war."

Now that Bubba Clinton has set up China with technological and nuclear secrets that would have taken them decades to figure out, the genie is out of the bottle.

We seem to be heading toward a head-on collision with the fullfillment of the prophecy of Armegeddon.

Just went to their website. They still have Michael listed in the lineup. I read the article you posted, and it appears to be Michael, but I'd hate to send them the nasty email I plan on sending them if it's not decided. Maybe they just did it this weekend so they haven't had a chance to remove his name. If you hear anything else please post it. I really want to give WMAL an earful.
