Albany -- Is this a Senate race or country music?
Cheating husbands. An out-of-wedlock child. Prison bars. Strong, independent women standing by their wayward men.
The stuff of late nights, neon-lit jukeboxes and smoky roadhouses? Not quite.
These women are Hillary Rodham Clinton and Jeanine Pirro, both lawyers and both with homes in a tony suburb north of New York City, and they're on a possible political collision course.
Clinton is the former first lady seeking a second term as New York's junior Democratic senator, and just possibly eyeing a run for the White House in 2008. Pirro, a district attorney known for her cable television crime-case commentary, wants to be the Republican to challenge Clinton's 2006 re-election bid.
GOP boosters encouraged Pirro to run, reasoning in part that any liability presented by Albert Pirro, the disbarred lawyer-lobbyist who served 11 months in federal prison for tax fraud, would be canceled out by Bill Clinton's better-known White House affair with Monica Lewinsky.
"Hillary didn't seem to get hurt by whatever her husband did, so I think they would negate each other, and it would be, hopefully, Hillary versus Jeanine," Saratoga County GOP Chairman Jasper Nolan said in May when Pirro first said she might run for the Senate.
Maybe not.
"The difference between Jeanine Pirro and Hillary Clinton is Jeanine Pirro's husband served time and Hillary's didn't," said Republican strategist Nelson Warfield. "Generally, you like your candidates to talk about convictions, but not their husband's convictions."

Cheating husbands. An out-of-wedlock child. Prison bars. Strong, independent women standing by their wayward men. Boy, we sure can pick 'em! Hillary vs. Hillary II.

Hillary's husband (as well as Hillary) SHOULD have served time and should still be in prison.
The Clinton's body count will exceed ALL candidates.

They seem to have forgotten to mention William J. Blythe's impeachment, and disbarment.

Some people are talking as though Pirro has the nomination. She doesn't.
Republican primary voters may prefer a more conservative Republican, Edward Cox.

Let's get this straight. Hillary doesn't have a husband. Bill doesn't have a wife.

I don't have a dog in this hunt, but I find it highly implausible that the NY GOP is going to run a conservative. They haven't done that in decades.
Hell, the NY GOP can run Hillary on the Republican ticket for all I care. Hell, considering current events, I'd say they already are.

Here is a little tidbit from the Daily Mirror UK
STONE BLUNDER
Exclusive By Fiona Cummins
CLEANERS found Bill Clinton and Bono's phone numbers carelessly left behind when terrified Sharon Stone fled her rented London flat after last month's bombings.
A source involved in cleaning up the £4,000 a week apartment said: "There were lots of handwritten notes, including some Post-Its stuck on the outside of the Yellow Pages.
"We were staggered to find these included numbers for Bill Clinton and Bono." Ironically, security had been a big issue for the 47-year-old star.

Let's keep a running list on this thread of the carrying-hillary's- anti-Pirro-water club.
Let's prove what Andrea Mitchell merely suggested last Sunday, namely, that the difference between useful idiot and purveyor of access journalism is academic.
|
Bor-r-r-ing
- This is clinton-machine talking point #2, i.e.,
- Jeanine Pirro is married to the Mob. Worse, the wise guy was nailed: The absurdity here is self-evident.
One thing the clinton machine does have right: Al is no bill.
-
For details, see ANDREA MITCHELL CARRIES OBLIGATORY ANTI-JEANINE WATER FOR HILLARY CLINTON
-
Jeanine is no hillary, either.
Pirro will support:
- Bush's national security and war-on-terror agendas
- Bush's judicial nominations, which is where the real leverage is on the abortion issue--NB pro-lifers!
- Bush's fiscal policies
So there is every difference in the world between Pirro and clinton. And this doesn't begin to discuss hillary clinton's corruption, betrayal and ineptitude. Or the rapes and other predation. Let us not forget that it was hillary clinton who hired Jamie Gorelick. Gorelick proceeded to do hillary clinton's bidding, which undermined the national security and was the efficient cause of 9/11.
- Why hillary clinton should never be allowed anywhere near the Oval Office... or any position of power--THE SERIES
REASON 1: MISSUS CLINTON HIRED JAMIE GORELICK
WHY DID BILL CLINTON IGNORE TERRORISM? Was it simply the constraints of his liberal mindset, or was it something even more threatening to our national security?
- "While the Republicans are (place some nasty verb here), a clinton is working hard for the people"
-
The contrast between these two women could not be more stark.

The ultimate thread-killer. Judging from the ratio of positive:negative comments Mia receives I'd say she was anything but a "thread killer".
Massive spam!
First of all you're misusing the word "spam". None of Mia's posts are of a commercial or soliciting nature.
Secondly, Mia is relaying information to alert people of the Clinton's machinations, and she is every bit a true American who loves our country.
I would think you could muster up a modicum of politeness towards her.

The Democrat shading of the misuse and abuse of employee by employer for sexual favors is mud in the eye of the NOW gang. They have no moral standing in the Billy getting "his" from the secretary pool of teenagers working in the whitehouse. It is ugly
