I have bought several computers from Dell, direct and have found them just fine. I have also found that they will negotiate the prices if you push them.

After the experiences I have had with dell I will never deal with them again, but still like their computers. Took 4 months to get a bill and by then the grace period for paying without excessive interest rates was up, they have no customer service at all imho.

My friend had that experience as well the special offer had run out so they upgraded the computer for her at the same price.
