Don't forget about the "lost" computer containing top secret info. Also, Sandy Burglar was part of that crowd too.
Thanks. I had forgotten about the "lost" computer. Gee, did they ever find it? (Probably not. It's someplace with Col. Shaffer's official briefcase of notes on Able Danger.)
State Dept. Missing Two More Computers - May 2000
The State Department, reeling from security lapses, has discovered two more missing laptop computers, including one signed out to the assistant secretary of state for policy and planning, Morton Halperin.
Unlike a laptop that disappeared in January, these two computers were not used for classified information, a senior State Department official said yesterday. Halperin told department officials that he had never used the portable computer, but that others in his office might have used it for routine memos or expenses on trips.

"This was not a classified machine, and as best we can tell it never had any classified material on it," State Department spokesman Richard Boucher said.
The misplacing of Halperin's laptop was discovered during a department-wide inventory that is still underway. The inventory was ordered after last month's disclosure that a laptop containing highly classified information about weapons proliferation vanished from a conference room in the department's Bureau of Intelligence and Research.

The SAME MORT HALPERIN who is DIRECTOR, Soros' OPEN SOCIETY POLICY CENTER. Hmmmm ...
I'm pretty vague on the lost computer. Didn't it come out later that it was done to discredit the guy?
I'm going to research -- this is the computer lost at the airport, right?
