If you look at how Richardson is treated on the MSM you would never know what a background he has. If memory serves me there was a huge controversy about how he dealt with some of our nuclear secrets.

He isn't such a "nice guy" if you cross him in NM politics. More like "off with your head". Fires cabinet officals who don't toe the Emperor Bill line, punishes political opponents by vetoing pork projects for their districts (both Dem and Pub), and when staff interview job seekers, has them ask the question "Is there anything in your background that would make the Governor look bad?".
