Would have to rise at 5 a.m. on weekends to see F&F. Bad enough that I have to be up on weekdays at that time to be at work at 6:30 am. But on weekends for that crew? No way!

We were at Wright Paterson last weekend and I thought that was it until I saw the Space Shuttle. THEN the Enola Gay.

We have got to get there. My hubby was mentally lost from the time we walked onto the grounds. I loved watching him. He was like a kid in a candy store!

I have been a fan of George Allen, but if he captiulates so easily on Cindy Sheehan, I am afraid, defconw, he just might not make it...

We have got to find someone 180 degrees from Hagel, Frist, and the dems...

BTW, I was listening to the replay of Tony's Snow's Friday radio show...where he Richardson on as a guest....I hate to tell all of the Tony Snow fans, but he was practically drooling over Richardson...calling him one of his "favorites" and a "stand up guy" that gives "honest answers"....

When I heard that I wanted to shoot off a really angry e-mail at Tony, but alas, it was at 8:00 that night...sigh

George Allen was a guest on the Nightline town hall meeting in January-with Cindy Sheehan. Her wish that the Bush daughters should go to Iraq and die- was made in April. No excuses for not knowing how demonic this woman is.

Good knowledge for future reference. I suspect she made a favorable impression on him then and her comments probably avoided her more radical outbursts. Do you remember a date and know why Allen would have accepted such an invitation?

Well, if that's the only mention on the Sunday network and cable shows, the story has really been put on the back burner
(for now).

BTW---I just got done scanning my Sunday Newspaper...the Fort Worth Star Telegram...

In the ARTS section, there is NOT one mention of the Nat. Geo. special about 9/11....it wasn't even listed in with all of the other shows...

Also, in the Weekly Review...which is editorial from theis staff about the week's stories, plus George Will....not ONE mention of Able Danger...but 3 major editorials and stories that are sympathetic to Cindy Sheehan, PLUS, an editorial written BY Cindy herself...

The letters to the editor were all about Sheehan...3/4 pro-Cindy..

Oh, 2 editorials about immigration...BOTH pro-illegals!

2 about Iraq,,,George Will and Jim Wright....Wright of course was totally bashing Bush..WIll's was....go figure..I don't get where Will is coming from anymore. (He referred to The Weekley Standard as a "neo-conservative magazine and web site"...

I hear ya loud and clear as to the effect it has on your health. It gets my blood boiling sometimes. In fact, that ABC bit got me going. The Station that plays Rush Limbaugh here has CBS news at the top of the hour...And that ABC bit almost made CBS look respectable.

A couple of the stations around here now carry Fox radio news at the top of the hour. Maybe if ABC continues to lose affiliates, they'll get the message.

First of all, I never said Allen said it. The post you are referring to was directed at someone who said you can't agree with a politician on every issue. I disagreed that Sheehan was an "issue" given her comments. I don't think I even mentioned Allen in the post. If it was taken that way, I apologize.

I said Allen wanted to meet with her, which in my mind, is supporting her. Supporting Sheehan is legitimizing her comments.

I don't watch Snuffleupagus so I don not know what was said on the show. If you are saying he has flipflopped his position on meeting with Sheehan, great. Why did he want to meet with her in the first place? Why did he think the President should meet with her for a second time, especially knowing the comments she has made?

Our argument is silly. You are an Allen supporter. I am not. I was seriously looking at him but he greatly disappointed me. Now, that said, who knows what will happen by 2008. I don't even know who is running yet. The people I assume are running are driving me to an early grave. Given Allen, Hagel, McCain and Gulliani I am at a loss. Be comforted though that I will never vote D and will support almost any R candidate (don't think even I can find the strength to support Hagel) in the general election. It is the primary where, today, we differ.

I was lurking on that thread Friday and didn't remember any mention of Tony's introduction of Richardson, or very many posts on what he said..(I didn't listen THEN, just read thread)...

I went back just now, and scanned the thread, and there were about 12 or so posts about Richardson, buy I didn't read any that commented on Tony's introduction and IMHO, over "friendliness" re: Gov. Richardson..

Unfortunately, Tony is on vacation for 2 weeks --- so no way to "talk" to him about it, unless he is lurking while on vacation...hope, hope.
